The Shirlma Show is pleased to present Sarkang Boris Mbesse as the winner of the February 2021 Shirlma Show business pitch competition. The recently held live audience show which took place on 27th of February 2021 at hotel residence la Falaise was indeed a huge success. Running for about 6 hours, the show hosted inspiring guest speakers, dynamic judges and an amazingly interactive audience.
As always, the live show unfolded in different phases; motivational and inspirational talks from well-established entrepreneurs; Mrs. Ngole Elizabeth Ayuk, Mr. Sankum Eric, Mr. Amabo Emmanuel and Mr Nanje Churchill, business pitches and networking. Prior to the live show, the registered participants for 2021 business pitch were given a one-day workshop on basic business etiquettes like accountability, customer service, sustainability and employee management by Javnyuy Joybert, Maina Gan and Collins Mazu. The participants were all expected to display their level of understanding on these topics through sketches where the group with the best sketch was rewarded a sum of 50,000FCFA.
Sarkang Mbesse was voted winner of the February 2021 business pitch competition by the jury after a very stiff competition with the other participants. He goes home with FCFA 1,000,000 worth of business supplies to boost his business. Sarkang is the co-founder of Moccles 7 in 1 Moringa Coffee. They transform coffee beans into coffee powder and produce an amazing utterly delicious 7 in 1 Moringa Coffee. The Coffee is blended to perfection and infused with 6 other ingredients like Soursop, Moringa, Clavo Hausca and Calcium.
The other participants on the list were namely; Courage Njang, Chi Keneth who both took second and third positions respectively, Fon Mambo, Britta Tamambang, Carlson Mvo, Djuidji Mary, Pascaline Nenda,Che Bruno and Mbah Mbameg Junior.
.Christelle Jackson, the 2020 winner of the shirlma show business pitch competition was present and shared her journey thus far. She gave some motivational words to the rest of the participants on how impactful her win at the shirlma show has been to her business within this short while.
Being on the Shirlma platform as an audience or an entrepreneur pitching their business is always a great experience to their personal and business life. Despite not winning the 1 million grants, Participants are given mentorship programs after the show to help them better structure their businesses as it will go a long way to boost their businesses. Pamela Ngah and Asta Beri, participants from the 2020 competition didn’t hesitate to share the impact of the mentorship program on their individual businesses.
